Davido accused of stealing the beat of his latest song Pere

– It appears Davido is involved in a case of song theft

– A little known producer has accused him and Dammy Krane of stealing the beat of his latest song Pere

– Davido is yet to respond to the allegation

Popular musician Davido has been accused of stealing the beat of his latest song Pere which featured American artistes Young Thug and Rae Sremmurd.

He was accused by HOD a little known music producer who revealed that he had made an unreleased song with Dammy Krane in 2015 also named Pere. Davido had revealed that Dammy Krane helped him write his own version of Pere.

HOD took to Twitter to lay his allegations calling out Dammy Krane for giving his song to Davido and the beat to American producer DJ Mustard.

“Only for me to press play on Davido’s new song last night and I hear the same fuc*ing song Dammy Krane recorded with me in 2015! Why? How long will upcoming producers be stepped upon? So because I am not known, you gave the song to Davido and my beat to DJ Mustard?

I have well documented proof by the way. Shame on Sony for not being professional about this too. I’m sure they felt this was just another unknown African producer,” HOD wrote.

Showing that he indeed had proof, HOD uploaded his unfinished recording with Dammy Krane to Twitter.

On the song, Dammy Krane is heard singing a rough version of the hook for Pere. According to details , the song was made in March 8, 2015.

HOD who has worked with the likes of Olamide, Reekado Banks, Ayo Jay and BOJ revealed that he has initiated legal proceedings against Davido and his record label Sony Music. Davido is yet to respond to this accusation.
