Expect more heavy defeats in the coming days – chief bode George tells APC
The All Progressives Congress (APC) is still licking its wounds arising from the defeat it incurred in Osun state recently.
Chief Bode George, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said the defeat was a sign that PDP
would more victories in forthcoming elections.
Chief Olabode George, a former deputy national chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP),
has asked the ruling All Progressives Congress to expect more major defeats in the coming days.
He said this in reaction to the latest victory achieved by his party in the senatorial by-election in Osun state.
In the election, Ademola Adeleke, who defected to the PDP in the heat of alleged imposition in the APC,
won to replace his late brother, Isiaka Adeleke.
George said the next target is the local government election that would hold in Lagos.
The Nigerian Tribune reported Chief Bode George as warning the APC and its government in Lagos state
to avoid manipulating the results of the forthcoming local government election.
